Hiatus ~

I’m here to let everyone know that this account will be left in hiatus for a while…

Even tought I love Alyss and everything about her, she demands a state of mind and patience that I, for the moment don’t have..

So, I’ll be here lurking sometimes, but all the rp’s will be put in hiatus.

But I want to make a note here: I will be returning to this account in the summer, after my exams, when I have more time to think and to actually enjoy this character.

If anyone needs me I will be on my OC (Cassidy Taylor) or in my Main <3

Alyss’ lips skethched a thin smile, averting her eyes to the floor. “Thank you anyway, Alice.” - she replied still not looking at the boy. Always jumping on conclusions, that’s how Alyss has always been. And yet, none of the times she had been wrong, still now was different. 

With a sudden move, she raised the head with a mad look on her face. “Why do they say such an horrible thing?! You are not a sign of misfortune!” - Alyss said in a rather upset tone.

The little girl’s sudden outburst surprised Alice quite a bit. It made him stand back up straight, stiffen a little bit and blink big, blue eyes at Alyss’ upset look. Well, it was normal for one to be upset upon hearing how another was degraded. Alice suppose he was just too used to everyone in Wonderland that this was just how things go.

“It’s not as bad as it sounds,” Alice brought a hand up and rubbed the back of his neck with it. He felt a little bad for getting Alyss worked up like this. “It’s just that my position attracts a lot of.. things that don’t like me. People get scared of getting caught up with those bad things. That’s all.”

Alyss nodded rather mad, looking at the floor. A deep sigh escaped her lips, as she placed one hand on her waist. “I get what you’re saying, and I’m sorry if I seem to be overreacting, but it’s something that I’m forced to relate, either I like it or not.”

“You’re not the only one who is considered a ‘misfortune’ magnet.” – she replied, obviously talking about herself – “But still, it’s not fair that people treat you like that.” – Alyss opened a small smile – “You’re a good person.”

Alyss left out a big and bright laugh. “Yes, yes! That’s so like my sister!” – the girl couldn’t stop laughing – “You know, she’s also called Alice. Maybe it comes with the name!”

 

She kept walking in the dark, being herself the only bright thing all along. A small jump and a giggle, made her turn around. “Be careful where you step in!” – she said pointing out to a hole without a seeing end.

For a brief moment the Hatter was torn between letting out a tired sigh and wondering if this really was something that carried on with the name—but then again he didn’t have this much trouble with the other ones. Well, as far as he could remember he didn’t. “I’m not sure if I should be worried about that or not…”

“Figured it wasn’t going to be that easy,” he chuckled, taking notice to hop over what needed to be hopped over. “I think I can handle myself.”

Alyss smiled, looking again to the front. “Well, maybe it’s a good thing.” – she replied, turning on her own ankles – “We could get them together and leave them in a locked room, so that way, none of us would have to be worried anymore.” – she said laughing.

As the older man words resonated in the place, she showed up a small grin. “It’s not hard here.” – she paused intentionally – “It gets worse.” – a small giggle left her lips and echoed all over the place.

Alyss tilted her head with a tender expression. She gave him a small nod, while petting his head, understanding that even if the boy really was feeling fear, he wanted to try to overcome them. She hold his hand again and stood up, walking slowly in direction of the leafed tunnel. Alyss could feel him tremble, and almost hear his nervous breath. A small breeze made the leafs wave slowly, making them hiss, in a smooth and melodious tune. Alyss started humming a music that she had heard somewhere, not really sure when or why, not knowing that it was actually ‘Lacie’’s music.

 

His expression brightened a bit when she smiled and started petting his head, leading him where the tunnel was afterwards. Every step they took, his heart beated faster and faster, but he was forcing himself to draw a seemingly heartened grin regardless.

Gilbert didn’t remember when he had heard of such a thing, but the motion of the leaves and the sound of the wind reminded him of a ship sailing during a tempest, and Alyss’ melody… was the lighthouse guiding the sailors to a safe place.

“We’re there.” He only stated when they reached the place, wiling to give it his all.

Alyss walked slowly towards the entrance of the cave, wrapped up with leaves everywhere. Inside, only a dim light from the top of the place would keep the path visible, entering through some holes that were on the celling. Alyss could feel the boy tensioning up, but she knew that he was trying to be has strong has he could. As she looked back at him, his strange grin made her smile, holding the grudge inside to laugh.

“Yes.” – she replied walking again – “His lair can’t be far.” – Alyss said, well knowing that the monster had nothing of ‘monster’ within him.

He resisted the urge to laugh about the look of curiosity on her face, “Ah, don’t worry about that. Something you get when eating too sugary products rot your teeth. It’s a figure of speech.” He ruffled his fur, the greyness of his pelt shuffling about into a range of fluffy spikes, “I don’t know; anything really. Your favourite colour, favourite food, your hobbies, whatever comes to mind.” His tail twitched as his ears pinned back in worry, “If that’s okay?”

Alyss laughed. She couldn’t help but to always be curious of the things she had never heard about. “You’re free to laugh Doku, I can’t tell what’s a figure of speech or what’s the common truth.” - she replied smiling.

“Ahm… Well then…” - she took a finger to her chin and smiled again - “That would be red…” - a small giggle left her lips. Crimson red. “And… I don’t have a favourite food, but I really like cake.” - she looked at the grey wolf and petted his head slowly - “And has for hobbies, drinking tea and being with Cheshire is pretty much it.” - Alyss replied.

“How about you?” - she gave a small tilt to the head.

Alyss left out a laugh, while looking at them. “Now now boys, no violence here. And I must warn you two, not always are the ladies weak.” - she winked smiling.

Alyss smiled. “Sorceress eh? Well then, you should be able to get back at them if they mess with you.” - a small giggle left her lips - “It’s always good that a lady knows how to defend herself.

Alyss blinked several times, looking at the dark-haired girl. “My, it sure doesn’t seem like you, Raven.” - she giggled - “You have a human form now, that’s interesting! Well, what happened?”

 Raven nodded once, letting out a small laugh. “Indeed it doesn’t~. And yes, having a human form is quite nice.  What happened? Hmm..well, I don’t entirely know.”

Alyss smiled. “I’m glad that you had the chance to have the connection to a human body. It makes you able to see something else then trough your master’s eyes.” - a small giggle left her lips - “Well, that’s the least of what matters, as long as you like it, it’s fine.”
